How to Play Crazy 4 Poker by Light and Wonder

GAME OVERVIEW

Crazy 4 Poker is a poker game that uses a standard deck of 52 cards, which is reshuffled between each game. The Player’s best four card hand competes against the House’s best four card hand.

HOW TO PLAY

  • Players start out by placing a bet in the ANTE bet area on the table. An equal bet will also be placed in the SUPER BONUS bet area automatically. Five cards are then dealt face up to the player and five are dealt face down to the house.
  • The player then has the choice whether to the make the PLAY bet or to FOLD. The PLAY bet is equal to the ANTE bet, although if the player has a pair of Aces or better they may make a PLAY bet of three times the ANTE bet.
  • If the player makes the PLAY bet then the house’s cards are revealed and the best four card hands are compared. The house must have at least a King to qualify. When the house does not qualify:
    • The ANTE pushes
    • The PLAY bet wins
  • When the house qualifies, if the player beats the house, the ANTE and PLAY bets are paid even money. If the house beats the player then the player loses the ANTE and PLAY bets. If a tie then ANTE and PLAY are pushed. In all of these cases the SUPER BONUS bet is paid according to the paytable.
  • There is also an optional QUEENS UP side bet which pays out based on the player’s best four card hand.
  • This bet is evaluated whether the player makes the PLAY bet or FOLDs.
  • The SUPER BONUS bet pushes unless the player’s hand is a straight or better, in which case it is paid according to the paytable.
  • The SUPER BONUS bet is only evaluated if the player makes the PLAY bet.
