How to Play Casino Blackjack by Spark

GAME OVERVIEW

Based on the look and feel of the popular 3D roulette game Casino Roulette, Casino Blackjack adds to the table games portfolio. This edition of the ever popular card game is designed in 3D and is built from the ground up to be uncluttered, clear, easy to use and optimized for devices.

HOW TO PLAY

The aim of blackjack is to beat the dealer by achieving a score higher with your hand without exceeding 21. The game rules will be those of standard blackjack:

  • The player lays a stake at a seat to play
  • The player and the dealer are dealt 2 cards each, only one of the dealer’s is showing
  • The player may request to ‘hit’ as many extra cards as they desire
  • If the total of the cards are above 21 then the player goes `bust` and loses the hand.

Following options will be available to the player depending on the cards in their hand:

  • Hit – requests a new card
  • Stand – end the current hand
  • Double – pay the initial stake again and receive one more card
  • Insurance – side bet against dealer having blackjack
  • Split – pay the initial stake again and split a pair into two separate hands

The Flow

  1. The player will add ships to any ‘seats’ they wish to play
  2. The player will click the ‘DEAL’ button to start the round
  3. Cards will be dealt to each seat that was staked on and also to the dealer, who will receive their second card face down.
  4. If the dealer is showing an Ace, the player will be offered insurance (see below)
    1. The player must accept or decline for each seat in play before the game can continue
  5. Play will then start in a clockwise order from the dealer.
  6. BUST hands will be cleared during play
  7. Blackjack (or hands with 21) will auto-stand
  8. When all hands have been played the dealer will flip their second card
  9. The dealer will draw cards until they reach 17 or go bust

Result Resolution

  • Any hands that have a higher total than the dealer, without having gone bust, will win and pay at 1:1
  • If the player has a 2 card total of 21 from any ten value card an Ace they will be deemed to have BLACKJACK and will win at a pay out of 3:2
  • Any hand that ties with the dealer’s total will be a PUSH and the player will get their hand stake back
  • Any card combination that results in the dealer getting 21 will be considered a PUSH if the player has blackjack.

Additional Rules

Double will only be available on hands totalling 9, 10 or 11

  • The maximum number of splits per hand will be 3, allowing a maximum number of games per ‘hand’ to be 4.
  • Doubling after a split will be allowed if the split hand totals 9, 10 or 11
  • Split aces that results in 2 more aces will not be allowed to split again, nor will they be allowed to be doubled
  • The player will be allowed to hit on split aces

Insurance:

If the dealer is showing an ace then the player will be offered ‘insurance’. If the player takes the offer they must pay the value of their initial stake and if the dealer has blackjack they will win 2:1 on this side bet.

NOTE: In our games insurance will not be offered on player hands with blackjack. Instead the result will be treated as a PUSH.
