How to play Gates of Olympus Roulette by Pragmatic Play

Introduction

Gates of Olympus Roulette brings together two casino favourites: classic Roulette and the beloved slot, Gates of Olympus™.

On top of standard betting options, the game features Lucky Number multipliers, Booster Rounds for bigger wins and incorporates the Gates of Olympus videoslot in an exciting Bonus Round.

The objective of the game is to correctly predict where the ball will land on the wheel. If you place a bet that covers that number, you win. The payout you receive will be based on the type of bet you placed.

If you place a winning Straight Up bet on a Lucky Number your payout will be determined by its multiplier value.

If you place a winning Straight Up bet on the Bonus Number, you will qualify for the Bonus Round and your payout will be based on the results of the Bonus Round.

How to Play

The Gates of Olympus Roulette table layout displays all standard betting options.

Select the chip value and place your bets on the preferred fields. You can continue placing and modifying your bets until the betting time runs out.

Your total bet in the current round will be displayed in the Total Bet window.

The ball is spun in the Roulette wheel according to the Valid Spin Rule described in the paragraph “Roulette Valid Spin Rule” of this text.

As the wheel spins, 1-7 numbers will be randomly selected as Lucky Numbers. Each selected Lucky Number is awarded a random multiplier value up to 250x. The multiplier will replace the standard payout on Straight Up bets placed on that Lucky Number.

One Bonus Number will also be selected, this number will trigger the Bonus Round if landed on.

The Bonus Number and the Lucky Numbers for the game round will be displayed in the studio and also highlighted on the betboard.

If the ball comes to rest in the pocket of a number, the winning number will be displayed on the screen. If any of your bets cover the winning number, you will receive winnings according to the Roulette payout table. The total amount won is shown in the winning message and the round will end.

Booster Rounds

During special Booster Rounds, the Bonus Number and some Lucky Numbers will receive the booster: an additional multiplier of x2, x3, x5 or x10.

The booster value for the round is displayed beneath the Bonus Number. All Lucky Numbers that receive the booster will change accordingly to display the increased multiplier value.

Lucky Numbers

Every round, 1-7 numbers are randomly selected as Lucky Numbers and each is given a random multiplier value between 50x and 250x, which replaces the payout on Straight Up bets. If the ball comes to rest in the pocket of a Lucky Number, any Straight Up bets placed on the winning number will be awarded the multiplier instead of the standard pay. All other bet types placed on Lucky Numbers only receive the standard payout for that bet type.

In a Booster Round, the payouts of a few Lucky Numbers are multiplied by the booster, x2 to x10, increasing values up to 2500x.

Bonus Round

Each game round, one random number is selected as the Bonus Number. If the ball comes to rest in the pocket of the Bonus Number, the Bonus Round is triggered.

You must have a Straight Up bet placed on the winning Bonus Number to qualify for the Bonus Round, a giant 6×5 slot based on the classic Gates of Olympus™ videoslot.

You get 15 spins to increase the value of the Total multiplier, which is displayed under the game screen.

The maximum Total multiplier that can be accumulated is 10,000x. Once the maximum limit is reached, any remaining spins will be forfeited, and the Bonus Round ends.

If the Bonus Round is triggered during a Booster Round, the booster is applied to the Tumble multiplier at the end of every spin.

Tumble Feature

After every spin, the value of any winning combination of symbols is added to the Tumble multiplier before they disappear. The remaining symbols fall to the bottom of the screen, and the empty positions are filled with symbols tumbling from above.

Tumbling is limitless and will continue until there are no more winning combinations. The amount in the Tumble multiplier when the tumbling sequence ends is added to the Total multiplier, and the Tumble multiplier resets to zero.

Multiplier Symbols

Multiplier symbols can land on any reel and have a random multiplier value of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x and 500x.

All multiplier symbols that land on the reels during a tumbling sequence are summed up and then applied to the Tumble multiplier at the end of the sequence.

All multiplier values are also added to the Bonus multiplier. Its accumulating value is applied to any future Tumble multipliers at the end of the next tumbling sequence.

When all spins have been completed, the Total multiplier is awarded to Straight Up bets placed on the Bonus Number. The total amount won is shown in the winning message and the Bonus Round ends.

Bets

You can place many kinds of bets on the Roulette table. Each bet can cover a single number or a certain range of numbers, and each type has its own payout odds.

Bets placed on the numbered spaces or on the lines between them are called Inside bets, while the ones placed on the special boxes below and to the sides of the board are called Outside bets. The numbers included if you bet on that betting field are highlighted.

Inside Bets

  • Straight Up Bet — place your chips directly on any single number (including zero).
  • Split Bet — place your chips on the line between any two numbers (e.g., split 0/2, 16/17).
  • Street Bet — place your chips at the lower end of any row of numbers on the Outside Bets side. A Street Bet covers three numbers (e.g., Street 7, 8, 9). Bets placed at the junctions of 0, 1 and 2 or 0, 2 and 3 are also accepted as Street Bets.
  • Corner Bet — place your chips at the cross lines where four numbers meet. All four numbers are covered (e.g., Corner 5, 6, 8, 9). A bet placed on 0, 1, 2, 3 (the lower junction of 0 and 1) is also considered a Corner Bet.
  • Six Line Bet — place your chips on the T-shaped crossing lines between two adjoining streets. A Six-Line bet covers all the numbers in both rows, for a total of six numbers (e.g., Six Line 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).

Outside Bets

  • Column Bet — place your chips in one of the boxes marked “2:1” at the end of the columns to cover all twelve numbers in that column. The zero is not covered by any of the columns.
  • Dozen Bet — place your chips in one of the three boxes marked “1st 12”, “2nd 12”, or “3rd 12” to cover the twelve numbers in the sequence 1 to 36. The zero is not covered by any of the dozens.
  • Even Chances — place your chips in one of these six boxes to cover the 18 numbers on the board correspondingly: Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low numbers (1-18), or High numbers (19-36). The zero is not covered by any of these boxes.

Orphelins is a 5-chip bet that covers the numbers on the racetrack not covered by the Voisins du Zero and Tiers du Cylindre bets. The chips are placed as follows:

Modify the number of neighbours from 1 to 9 on each side.

You may place several of your saved Favourite bets in the same game round along with any additional chips.

You can also edit, rename, pin, duplicate or delete any of your Favourite bets at any time or create new ones.

Roulette Valid Spin Rule

A winning number is valid only when the spin is deemed valid. A valid spin is defined as follows:

The Roulette ball must be spun in the direction opposite to the rotation of the wheel and must complete at least three complete revolutions counted from the point where the ball was launched around the track of the wheel before dropping to constitute a valid spin.

If the spin is defined as invalid, this situation is called a “No Spin”. Situations where a “No Spin” is declared:

  • The ball made fewer than 3 complete revolutions.
  • The ball was spun in the same rotation direction as the wheel.
  • The wheel stopped rotating during the spin.
  • A stuck ball, either on a fret, ball stop or number track.
  • The ball jumped out of the wheel (ball-out).
  • The ball was fumbled/dropped before spinning.
  • Any foreign object entered the wheel during the spin.

In the event of a “No Spin”, the re-spin of the ball will be done based on our standard operating procedures.

Your bets will remain in play until a valid spin is made.

Game Inconveniences

If there is an error in the game, system, game procedure or transaction activity, the game round will be temporarily paused, and the Shift manager immediately notified. You and other players will be informed by an on-screen notification that the issue is being investigated.

If the error can be immediately resolved, the game round will continue as usual. If immediate resolution is not possible, the game round will be cancelled, and initial bets will be refunded to all players who participated in the game round.

A maximum of 95% of the numbers on the wheel can be covered with bets in a spin. If this limit is exceeded, all your bets are rejected for that spin.

If you wish to discuss any game related issues, please contact Live Support, providing your Game name.
