About the game
Ramen Puzzle is an instant win game that consists of a grid of 25 tiles concealing either ramen bowls or leftovers. Welcome to the best ramen joint you have ever visited, Ramen Puzzle! Savor Ms. Kawai’s delicious, sparkling ramen to your heart’s content, as you keep opening bowl after bowl! Enjoy your meal!
With every ramen bowl you reveal, your total winnings increase. You may cash out the winnings after each ramen bowl revealed, but if you reveal any leftovers, all progress is lost. You can set the number of leftovers on the grid between 1 and 24; the more leftovers the higher the risk.
You decide how long to stay in the game – cash out after one ramen bowl or risk it all for a chance at the big payout. Good luck!
Game panel
Balance
This displays the total balance.
Bet value
This displays the value of the current bet. Choose how much you want to bet on each round by pressing the – or + button. You can also choose the minimum or the maximum bet value by clicking the respective buttons. If you press play without having selected bet value and number of leftovers the game will either start with the default values, or your selected values from the previous game round.
Number of leftovers
This displays the number of leftovers on the grid. Use the – or + button to set an amount between 1 and 24. The amounts available are 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 17, 20 and 24. You can also choose the minimum or the maximum amount by clicking the respective buttons.
Play
Press the play button to start the game.
Cash out
Once the game round has started, the play button turns into the cash out button. Press this button to end the round. After each revealed ramen bowl, the button will display the total win if you choose to cash out at that time.
Random Tile
The button with the intertwining arrows icon, is the Random Tile button. Pressing this button reveals a randomly chosen tile on the board.
Win field
When the game round ends with a cash out, the total win is indicated in the chosen currency.
Miscellaneous
Any visual similarity or depiction of a physical device (e.g. a reel, a roulette, a wheel of fortune, etc.) neither represents nor simulates those physical devices, and all results produced by the game are solely determined by the game’s random number generator.
How to play
Start the game
Start by setting bet value and choosing number of leftovers between 1 and 24. The maximum potential win for the chosen combination of bet value and number of leftovers will be indicated on the bottom of the game panel.
Cash out any time
There are ramen bowls and leftovers under the tiles. Click on any tile to reveal a ramen bowl, and with each ramen bowl revealed your total winnings increase. You can cash out after a successful reveal or choose to stay in the game. The cash out button will indicate the current payout if you choose to finish the round.
Beware the leftovers
If you reveal any leftovers the game round is ended and your progress thus far is lost.
Treasure boost
This icon lights up to indicate when the TreasureBoost feature is active. Click on the icon to access a tutorial on the feature.
Mechanics of the game
The following sections explain the underlying mechanics of the game. The base of all mine games is that there are TREASURES and MINES. Treasures award a multiplier to the player’s bet, while mines result in the player’s loss of the bet. In Ramen Puzzle the treasures are represented by ramen bowls and the mines are represented by leftovers. However, in these following sections we retain the terminology TREASURE and MINE to explain the underlying mechanics.
